Only an Englishman will read so much English (hundreds of pages of Responsibilities, Qualifications). Any Spanish or italian will throw it in the bin.
They forgot to add one line at the end. Like those Mutual Fund ads where they say "All Investments are subject to market risk", here also they should have said "All appointments are subject to approval by ISL " !!!
They want low profile for National Team and more focus on ISL thats why coach will be chosen accordingly.
6 June 2017 was the last time India hosted a FIFA international Friendly match and it was against nepal. Other then that, either it is few matches outside india or that monsoon cup in mumbai. All FIFA dates are skipped in atrociuous excuses that 1) we will get good Pot, good draw if we dont play any Friendly on FIFA dates. 2) imaginary SWAFF Cup which never happened3) good ranking if we dont play. No decent foriegn coach will agree to this, only some ISL puppet.
Guys what is your opinion about Sergio lobero becoming our National coach.. He has worked with Barcelona youth team for many years.. He has the same credentials like the Qatar coach he has the potential to develop our youth players (btw qatar coach Felix was a barcelona youth coach and has also worked in aspire academy qatar)
In that case, why not hire the current Qatar coach for our NT? Looking at the way Indian football has witnessed a Spanish resurgence in recent times (in terms of technical staff and players, both in ISL and I-League), such a move seems definitely possible. We can always add some Spanish croquettes and tortilla to sweeten the deal
Delhi Dynamos has recently entered into a tie-up with Aspire Academy. They could always hire Felix Bas as coach/technical consultant (the present coach can be dispensed with) for a short time. Then, after conducting an interview for NT coach, hand over the reins of the Indian football team to him. Win-Win situation: keep IMGR/Aunty happy, pave the way for the development of Indian football

"Only cronies, paper-stamps should apply for the post...candidates with spine are liable to be summarily rejected"
According to Kushal Das, AIFF is not looking for a high profile coach but a fatherly figure as well as someone who does not fight with the federation and listens to all and sundry.
So we might go for a 'YES' man coach.
