It's ok to change logo. Even manchester city, chelsea changed logo to such as extent that it doesn't even resemble to old logo. Anyways I am happy for the merger bcoz I didn't like ATK concept at all. Kolkata belongs to MB, EB, MSC. Since MB got a financial support, they should focus on better stadium, their academy and expanding the fan base. I'm waiting for KBFC vs MB clash next season. ISL will see a huge attendance in Kolkata. Of course managing this large pool of players will be a headache. Expecting few players will leave.
I'm happy with the merger but the name sucks. I was never in favour of any prefixes to the club name even before when the King Fisher and McDowell prefixes were there.
But ATK prefix is pure ego of Goenka, nothing else. I don't think anybody wants that prefix and Mohun Bagan babus were probably paid into submission.
