Chennaiyin have probably signed quite an underwhelming manager

John Gregory though vastly experienced hasn't managed to put on a good show in his last 4 managerial outings 

He last managed a League 2 side couple of years ago

As a hardcore Chennaiyin FC fan disappointed with our recruitment this season

Jude,Gavilan,Nelson hardly played in the last two seasons make our wings
Francis Fernandez  ,Balmuchu,Rafi are waste of spots 

Dhana coming after 1 year injury hiatus was our second pic
Thoi shadow of his old self

No proper CB signed yet will probably make Inigo Cb who played his entire career as full back 
No genuine center forward hope we sign a good one

hope is on Rene,Agusto,JEJE and Thapa 

Have high hopes on Thapa to be a jerry this season

Our next 2 foreign signings are key 

Don't trust John Gregory much 
Will play old fashioned direct English football

Jury still out on quality of the squad until we see them play a few games.

On paper looks a top half side. I have more doubts on John Gregory than the squad to be honest.
