A 17-year-old nigerian Adegbola Ayomide Idowu, was approached by Samuel Lewis in his home country who posed as an agent of a fictitious Indian club, 'Nivea Heroes', based out of Delhi. He was offered a yearly contract of Rs 1 lakh. Idowu trusted the agent who assured him that Parvez, secretary of that fictitious football club had successfully placed many Nigerian footballers in renowned football clubs of India and was made to pay US $1,500 (Rs 90,000) for arranging a visa and a contract.
Ah poor. But who would pay out 90% of his yearly emolument as commission. I guess that would be 10 lakhs. Also Nigerian Fraud is a well known phenomena. But never knew they also cheat fellow Nigerians
