Brought some pleasant memories from a long long time ago. I was very excited by the introduction of Rob baan and wim koevermans. Plan was to follow most of the games, and chronicle the tactics and strategy. Spent so many days attending Indian practice sessions. I don't know how accurate was my assessment in this article, but it took me lot of time, watching the recorded match, looking at certain scenarios again and again. That was the time of optimism - change of style, Pailan arrows under arthur papas, some nice youngsters coming up. Really sad that the Koevermans episode ended so poorly, arrows shut down, many of those players disappeared. We are back to old style of play, and honestly, that is perhaps we can manage right now. Personally, I have lost that optimism and hope, and it is unlikely I would devote so much time for analyzing the team anymore.
