There's so much Indian football can learn from the recently upsurging young Indian Hockey Team! We defeated China 5-0 and the powerhouse Korea 5-3 in the ongoing Asian Champions Trophy tournament in China. There have been 2 important and substantial changes in the affairs of hockey. 1st, the coach Michael Noobs from Australia..no-nonsense, non-fussy, experienced.
2nd, the senior players who thought they were indispensable and skipped camps regularly in previous times have been suspended and a fresh young team has been selected.

A very good observation by Shankar. Discipline comes first. In sports i want INDIA to be the champions in all categories except in cricket.

Hockey players refused the initial 'incentive' offered to them. Indian Hockey team wins Asian Champions trophy and were initially given only Rs.25000, with which they can't even afford a decent kit. Later to save its face Sports ministry offered 1.5 lakhs.
Kamaljit Singh is the 2nd choice goalie of Arrows, was also there in some games last season and he was born in 1992
