Footballer Anas Edathodika joins post-flood cleaning mission in Malappuram .
Indian footballer Anas Edathodika joined the mission to help the flood victims in his native place. Anas took part in the cleaning mission at Vaalillappuzha in Vazhakkad in Malappuram.
The cleaning mission had started in Vaalillappuzha with the help of the people of Kondotty Mundapra village, the native place of Anas, on Tuesday. When Anas joined the team, many people including football players cooperated with the mission.
But having no interest to gain publicity through flood relief works, Anas tried his best to avoid cameras. However, Anas can been seen in the video with soiled clothes. Anas later said it was the people of his place who helped him grow and his only wish is to help them.
French President Emmanuel Macron Issues a Joint Statement With PM Modi
Congratulating PM Modi on his second victory as Prime Minister, French President Emmanuel Macron issues a joint statement with him. President Macron believes that India must be a part of G7 as there are matters in which it’s presence is important. For this he has changed some parts of how G7 is organized.
“We have expressed our condolences for what happened in Pulwama on February 14. We will continue to work together on terrorism. Our ties in Defence sector show how much we trust each other. We’ve also affirmed that we’ll help in ‘Make in India’.”

The French President has also confirmed that the first Rafale aircraft will reach India by next month.
Expressing his views on the government’s decision to abrogate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, President Macron says,
“PM told me about the recent decision taken by India and that it is in their sovereignty. I said Pakistan & India will have to find a solution together & no third party should interfere or incite violence.”
