We never commend our team do we??? Evn after playing well exceeding our earlier predictions of 2-0 or 5-1 etc..???we can create an upset only if we give teams a run for their money like SC said!!! I agree there are a lot of flaws that need to be corrected but iam happy personally with the kind of defensive and midfield organisation we had today. I believe u dont need to play attacking football to win matches !!! Defensive organization is a primary necessity u can scrape home with 0-0 or 1-0 result if we have a tight defence as witnessed today
Its a mystery how Robin Singh continues to play for both India and BFC! He is surely the Ravindra Jadeja of Indian football, but who is Dhoni in this case! Even a Balwant Singh is better than him..
India played wall could have been a draw or win. India paid price for shit selection of players and No good replacement players for each position.
Subrata :- made a big blonder which cost as the draw. then made a good save. was average and did another blonder at end. confused the infield players later. ( should be replaced with gurpeet from next match)
Rino Anto :- Was Not up to the mark in oversleeping runs. but was good in defence. will improve in future he was nerves as it was his first match and at this higher level and tempo. (No Replacement Required)
Arnab Mondal :- The Captain was very Good. did a mistake in first min. but can't blame him all players were switched off at that time. He was very good in defence and was only the true center back in the team. only his long balls were a down point of him. (No Replacement Required)
Dhanachandra Singh :- Was the best defender in Team India. did a big mistake in giving away a penalty can't blame him he is not natural CB. overall I am impressed by him. (Should move to LB and Jhingan should come in as CB)
Chutea :- Was good in his forward runs. helped the midfield but no so good defending. (should be relegated to bench and Dhana should take his place)
Jackichand :- Did nothing much tried his magic which didn't work on strong omani defence this proves which works in I-league doesn't works in international football. ( should be replaced by shityasen or CK Vineeth can be used as sub)
Shanaz :- Played good in First half worked very well as holding midfield. feuded away in 2nd half. (should be replaced with Cavin Lobo or used as a 1 half player)
Eugenson :- Invisible for most of the match. was not HP- to mark against this physical team highly. but loved his inch perfect corners and Free kicks. (should stay in team for his set peaces. SC should use him more in a attacking role)
CK Vineeth : Made lots of simple mistakes but tried his best for the team. Oman defence didn't give him much space to combine with chattri. (should be moved ST position. Mandar should replace him in LW position)
Sunil :- Best Player in the team a true leader. scored a unbelievable goal only player in India team who can score. bad luck he didn't get the penalty. (In replaceable)
Robin :- Did nothing in the match Worst player of the match (should be replaced with CK vineeth)

Danpal :- Was average. did hold the ball but was exposed with his lack of seed. was unable to outrun omani players in counter attacks (should we used only against slow teams )

Our defence fought very well....oman strougled to score goals and we should have feilded defensive midfeilder thoi sing and attacker cavin lobo....if thoi was there then result would have been diferent
Good game by the Indians.... really happy to see them perform well without any friendlies or not enough preparation.... after this I am hopeful that we may have a 40 percent chance of beating Oman in muscat and who knows may be get a point or 3 againt Iran in the home game ( a little over optimisitc..I agree)....
The fact that Constantine is investing in Youth will yeild good results in the future.... I am truly hopeful.
