8 clubs will do, it's the duration that matters.

But personally I think they should disband I-league, now that the purpose of IMG-R has been achieved.

Lets see how many ISL fans will do dhrana when their fav players like Super GK reheneesh , Jackichand , Seityasen , sanju pradhan , Nadong Bhutia , jewel raza,sushil lord kumar , denzil francao ,  Dempo Players in ISL  and many more will not top division for remaining part of the season
