as per the suggestions given by the I-league Committee and after consultaion with AFC, decided to hold the Federation Cup on a Home and Away basis for the season 2015/16. The top eight Teams as per the standings after the completion of the League would be participating in the Federation Cup.

Is there enough time? We need 3 months atleast.

9 games - 2 months (6 group games, 2 semi final and 1 final) or 5 games- 1 month ( 2 quarterfinal, 2 semifinal and 1 final). Anyway it is good for players and Indian football overall.

I want to see single final in kochi / siliguri / Delhi(ambedkar stadium) / kolhapur/ Jammu.

Final better conducted in the home of higher ranked team.

Good news but not surprising. This is basically a continuation of the league but with one less team and a new format.
