How does Alwyn George not have a thread on here yet? Oh well, lets go.
Alwyn George, for those who do not know, is a two-time FPAI Youth Player of the Year award winner. Starting his professional under Arthur Papas for Pailan Arrows, George rose to prominence under Papas with the India U22 side that competed in the qualifiers for the 2013 AFC U22 Championship in 2012. He scored a brace in the opening match against Lebanon, where India U22 won 5-2 (along with a goal from Manandeep Singh and a brace from Jeje Lalpekhlua). He then scored the only goal in a 2-1 defeat against Iraq. He found the net again in our 4-1 victory over Turkmenistan (with Lalrindika Ralte, Romeo Fernandes, and Jeje). Sadly, defeat against Oman (4-0) and a draw against the United Arab Emirates (1-1) saw India U22 fail to qualify but their were certainly plenty of positives and Alwyn George proved to be one of them.
Alwyn then entered the 2012-13 season with a lot of people watching but he failed to fully live up to expectations. The brilliant performances that were created for the U22 side could not be replicated in the I-League and soon, when Papas moved to Dempo, Alwyn moved as well to the 5-time Indian league champions. Alwyn's two seasons in Goa were not good as once again, the bright talent could not reach his potential and when Trevor Morgan came in, Alwyn was frozen out.
Alwyn has now moved to the 2013-14 I-League champions, Bengaluru FC, and he hopes that under Ashley Westwood he can rediscover the form that brought him into Indian football prominence.

He is the only genuine creative player that could play for India ( as Brandon seems to have burnt that bridge )
Still at BFC ?
How was his performance in ISL last 3 seasons ?? Did he get any opportunities ? injury concern ?
According to Transfermarkt, in ISL 2018-2019 season

Sunil Chhetri's comment on him earlier this year is revealing
"I just hope that the transition from under-16 to senior is smooth. I hope we don't lose players, we don't have a case of Allwyn George. He played against Palestine, had a step-over, dribbled past two players and shot and I thought we have a good player. But that was six years ago."

let me tell you with an example..
FCPC went to Goa for Awes Cup , I was there at Tilak Maidan in stands during match of FCPC vs FC Goa reserves
in the first half Alwin was easily dispossessed by Goa's LB , not just that he was so lethargic and all over the places he literally wasted good moves created by diego carlos few times.. clearly the case of player being unfit
now thats not the problem , what i observed was his body language . It seemed he didnt even wanted to be on ground.
and that happened in every game he played afterwards or even in practise session.I never seen him mixing up with other team members(indian forget foreigners).no interaction with fans whatsoever. It felt like even he realised he cant play anymore after this season so FCPC was like comfort zone where he were being fed and paid properly(before salary delays)
man if you were not interested at all , you should have stayed at home.. same attitude was seen in Shankar Sampingiraj... these players dont even deserve to be in 7's football
Imagine coach's situation where whole season was planned and these two players could be important part of squad since they were CAM/DM respectively... on the top of that Rohit kumar was also injured so we practically played without any proper support to stanko/adil in midfield
point is Alwin doesnt look like player who plays with determination , will power, consistency to play at top level for longer period.on the top of that schoolboy level fitness is also one more concern. no wonder he faded away
