what our players will do after 35 years. they should earn and save as much as possible in 35 yeras. real uncertainty starts after that. I agree with EastbengalPride 10 lakhs PA is less for a top flight footballer. then again we don't have enough talent to pay.

agree we don't have enough to claim huge salary... but money brings interest and leads to more talent...

Already with clubs shutting down every month, and few seats in the ISL bus for Indians, there is a scarcity of jobs for players. Less opportunity, low salaries aren't exactly the thing a kid or his parents look forward to! Salaries must have a cap so it doesn't sky rocket but there has to be a balance. It's on the clubs rather than the players to be honest. I don't see how AIFF or FPAI can do anything. And agree with @gaffertape , FPAI has no means of bargaining unless being a bhaichung organization there is some bakc door play going on.
