Guys,7-0 aggregate to Iran over two legs isn't that bad to be honest.7-0 could have been in one match.
Everybody knows about the shitty team selection, but even if the best Indian team would have played then also we would have lost.
The fact is that we currently aren't good enough to even get a draw against the likes.

Its never about losing the match. We always knew we are going to lose the match. Its about how you are loosing and what type of fight you have given.Technically and professionally we are 1000 miles away from Iran. That doesn't mean we will give up like the way we did yeterday. In paper 4:0 is looking a decent result against Iran but the score sheet doesn't always speaks the truth. The matter of the fact is that, again our team has succumbed in the pressure and displayed horrendous defending that results in 2 unnecessary penalties. Not a single positive move is materialized from men in blue in the whole game. The passing accuracy was pathetic. We were not able to hold the ball for more than 5 sec at a streatch. There is nothing positive that we can look upon from the match except Gurpreets performence.Irans performance is nowhere near their pdisplay against Argentina in WC still it would have been a masacre if Gurpreet and cross bar wouldn't have become China Wall infront of Irans attack. So there is no point of rejoicing for us seeing the score 4:0 in away match against as our real shitty performance has not reflected in the score.

The issue is that we are way of the pace with Iran.I mean ,in an away match we hardly created anything against Nepal.I dnt know what are we likely to do against Iran.
We should slowly slowly focus on our defence. We should focus on organisation in our defence, concentration for 90 min,try to hold the superior teams to a nil nil for as long as possible. Then, over a period of time perhaps a stage will develop where we can hit them on counters. Right now,no one in this team can hold the ball for 3 seconds.
No real hopes from this team.Hope our U-17 and U-20 boys make us proud. This team isn't good enough.

ShitBacks coach should start Gulpreet in every league match now.

The U17 or U20 kids may be better, but they would be better only marginally, because they've  been sieved  from a very narrow pool. IMO, this beating Will keep on going till we widen our pool (by clubs setting up proper academies), have a 6-8 month proper league, have some real coaches, play good friendlies regularly, and so on. The list is long, but known by everybody. Till these happen, one stray GSS will have to save us from 30-0 scorelines. Period.

If you look at our junior teams at every level it is flooded with North East players. I have nothing against them. But it just narrows our pool to so little its like Mizoram or Manipur vs rest of the world. Unless this is rectified nothing will happen. And honestly physical advantage is an important factor in Asian football now. Which the north east players dont have. I'm surprised that no footballer comes out of Kashmir after Mehraj and Ishfaq

Flooding of Indian football by NE players clearly illustrates  the inaction of Indian football administrators versus the opposite of the NE administrators. If inspected closely, the better organization there would also be apparent. It is a different thing that they are physically deficient.

We are making a colossal mistake by commercializing the sport before putting in a sustainable structure. The growth, needless to say, will remain stunted in the coming years. Teams like Tajikistan, Myanmar, Philippines are overtaking us in spite of their poverty, corruption and lack of resources.
