According to wiki, Brazilian Uilliams play for Penang where Ashley is going. Baretto used to play for Penang in 2005. Ranty Martins played for Penang last year? Chidi Edeh featured for rivals Kedah.
With George Town in Penang so full of Indians, Ashley is not going to forget India so easily. :)

I would have loved to see AW work with a SLFC/Minerva....These clubs would benifit most with a quality backroom team....

JEJE was Chennaiyin player before he moved to Bagan
And at Bagan he used to warm benches even though he performed well with Chennaiyin
He started playing when Balwant was injured

Don't know why he is claimed as a Bagan player

GFA blasts AIFF over election process. Raises doubts on the free, fair and transparent nature of the election process.

The Goa Football Association (GFA) is up in arms against the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for violation of the National Sports Development Code in the run up to its executive committee elections later this month.

GFA general secretary Welvin Menezes has petitioned the Returning Officer Justice B.C. Kandpal (Retired), pointing out how there were major diversions in the AIFF election procedures from the model election guidelines.

“As per the Sports Code, each candidate has to be nominated by one member association and seconded by one member association, whereas in the AIFF electoral process each candidate has to be nominated by five member associations. There are also differences in the submission of nomination papers, number of candidates that can be nominated by a member association etc,“ Menezes said in a strongly-worded petition to the Returning Officer in Dehradun late on Tuesday .

The GFA also said as per the Sports Code each member association can nominate two delegates and cast two votes, whereas in the AIFF electoral process, each member association can send only one delegate and has only one vote. The GFA has enough reasons to be aggrieved at not just the Sports Code violations but also an attempt by the AIFF to propose an executive committee to all state associations, asking them to fill nomination forms accordingly .

The AIFF will hold elections to its president, treasurer and executive committee on December 21 but according to an email from vice-president Subrata Dutta to all affiliates on November 26, elections may not be needed at all as the federation has already drawn up its own list, retaining Patel as president besides four of the five vice-presidents.

Subhash Chopra (North), Subrata Dutta (East), KMI Mather (South) and Larsing Ming Sawyan (NorthEast) will all continue in their respective positions as vice-presidents, while former GFA president Shrinivas Dempo is the only absentee. Instead, Goa's spot among the vice-presidents for West zone has been `offered' to Manvendra Singh, who was elected president of the Rajasthan Football Association in September.
