@Deb_Ban Mate....there is a saying in Hindi..."bhnais (buffalo) ke saamne bin bajane se kya hoga"...... here it can be modified to "Pagla Lota" instead of bhnais. Just ignore those guys who just get joy in using foul language without any provocation. Let us maintain our dignity but if some guys continue to use foul language against our Club then he should be prepared to get a suitable kick. Jokes etc. is fine...but foul language like pighouse or shitting in Club during Derby (don't remember exactly what that particular gentleman posted but something like this..I think) is not appreciated at all & the gentleman concerned must understand that any repeatation will be hit back appropriately.
@deepakc Yes...not a full house yesterday, Mohun Bagan Ground now has a capacity of approx 22k, my honest estimate for yesterday is 18k approx. 1st Match was house full, 2nd-3rd-4th match crowd more or less identical.
@Deb_Ban: In order to get into a pedantic discussion, you need to have logic on your side, not simply vitriol....I certainly agree that if someone uses foul language, you have a right to censure him...but that does not mean you deride an entire community or section of people by calling them as uprooted/refugees etc...also you should appreciate that I am the only East Bengal fan in this forum who have consistently criticized @EastBengalPride's foul language...talking of instigation, just look at the language two particular MB fans have used against East Bengal in the Fight Club thread or in the respective club threads...isn't that provocation? Do instigate us by all means....we believe in replying on the field !
My dear friend, it is not 'him' only, it is 'them'. Please go to the Mohun Bagan thread: Someone else also had gleefully declared that they loved to pee on the rival's wall, and that was also without any provocation. Vitriol did start flowing from that side only, we are only paying back!
I shouldn't be overstating if I take this kind of behavior as a trait of these people, should I?
Meanwhile the penalty awarded againstbEB in CFL (USC match) has been considered a landmark event in indian football by many on twitter...considering the rarity
OK, then some members of this forum have been guilty of abusing MB fans, which is surely condemnable... BTW, that particular phrase that you mention has been used by the person that I mentioned, couldn't find anyone else using it...But what do you mean by 'trait of these people'...do you seriously mean that the Bangals, or those whom you euphemistically refer to as the 'uprooted' are the only one who possess these traits?...Then, going by the comments of Messrs.@AKB and @Soccerlover, who, I again repeat, have deliberately insulted those 'uprooted' by mentioning Swapan Ball's 'b*lls' or used foul language against East Bengal players and officials umpteen times, are also affected with that trait...so these people exist on both sides and one should not consider race/sect/community while condemning their acts, isn't it?...You would surely agree that using 'us' and 'them' in these cases (when supporters of both clubs have been guilty) is surely very foolish in such contexts The only reason for this long sermon is a) Let's keep the EB-MB rivalry and mud-slinging out of this thread, at least and b) I cannot stress this enough, refrain from abusing others and making personal attacks ...Peace
@thebeautifulgame Just tell me exactly where I have used obscene or unparliamentary language against EB fans or EB club.....I use the term "LOTA" only to pay back one particular genteman from your side who started using a similar terminology & uses it repeatedly. I will always pay back. No sermon please. Period.
