Bengaluru FC  going to face Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) and will be aiming for a AFC Cup 2016 Final spot

2016 I League champions will create history if it makes into AFC Cup 2016 Final. So far, best performance from Indian clubs is reaching SF.  Prior to BFC, Dempo SC & East Bengal achieved the feat earlier by reaching SF in 2008 and 2013 respectively.

J.D.T won Malaysia Super League 2016 with 2 games in hand and it has good mix of foreign & local players.. In Q.F, both Argentina players are score sheet and these players made difference for J.D.T against South China. Even the local players are good.

B.F.C players (excluding new foreign players) has already played twice against JDT this year in group stage... Hope that experience helps us..Even B.F.C has good mix of foreign & local players. Striking dept is only the weakest link. Let's hope that BFC will do good against J.D.T  (Johor F.C) and creates history..

The first leg will be a big challenge as it is away fixture. Hope BFC will gear up well by playing friendlies with I-League/ISL teams ..

If marketed well, Indian fans who are in Singapore and Malaysia can travel to Johor Bahru to support BFC..

Its good we do not have West Asian clubs. I think its a good opportunity for BFC to create history

BFC already lost 2 games against J.D.T in group stage (including home tie)...  

J.D.T is not a weaker team... But as you said, it is better to face J.D.T instead of West Asian Club and B.F.C has slighter chances of reaching final...

BFC will have to score goals in this leg.. They will never manage a 0-0 draw against Johor with this same strategy

Problem for BFC is they neither have a strong physical CF neither any pacy Attacking mid.. Watson & Rubio are similar type players with none of them contributing much in attack.. A goalscoring draw will be the best result for BFC

I went to stadium to watch first match of the season vs JDT. Westwood used mainly  second string squad. Thoi Singh was captain. Sunil/Lyngdoh and I think even Johnson did not play. So, that match doesn't count. Yeah but it was good exposure to other young players of BFC

I personally do not believe they can win it but it is possible. JDT have two good Argentine attackers and they are at good ages and doing well at this level... very well. Bengaluru FC have a good defense but will probably not have much possession at all and will hold their own but once that first goal goes in for JDT that could be it.

This is the moment where you kind of wish we were allowed 5 foreigners instead of 4.
