rovers have trurly lost it or they have absolutely no idea about foorball...when Rover are doing ok in the championship and the season has just started they sack him after he is offered a long contract..what were they doing for 2 years when ROVERs were in the EPL and on the way to relegation?..
Honestly it was still going to happen. Despite the start Rovers have seen attendances drop to 13,000 a game which for them is really not good at all. The fans want a new start.
For Rovers, if I was Venkeys I would first have a discussion with Shebby Singh, do the usual "Listen, it is just not working out, you talked publicly about a Kean sacking, and the fans are not happy." Then sign Phil Brown as manager.
Akid is right kean was simply not working out; fans hated him.. they had enough of his liars and banter... The guy seemed quit clueless with his tactics as well...Their decent start was mainly due to the depth of their squad and some good individual performances... their overall performances in these games were pretty poor (based on the commentary and the one live game I watched on-line)... I don't blame the fans; venkys just kept the guy in there for too long... The fans are the heart and soul of the club after-all...
haha.. at least Phil brown has some decent experience.the names going around as rumours are tim sherwood, alan shearer and people like Flitcroft , Jansen and craig short ... these people have no experience what so ever in management; not at least that this level...
I hope (for the fans sake) they select a decent manager who can take them up to premiership; they have a pretty decent squad for this level (championship)...
Phil Brown has already got a team up into the Premier League in Hull City only 3 years back. He did a brilliant job and had them in 4th at one point but then when they were in 15th (the next season) they sacked him. Hull got relegated then he went to Preston and could not save them from relegation into League 1. Either way he is a great manager who with the squad of Blackburn can bring them back up, and he needs backing as well.
@Akid Agree.. pretty solid manager.. but don't think he is even considered.. a surprise name coming out is Christoph Daum.. He seems to be interested... Whether they go for him is another matter... But that could be really interesting... I think he a pretty good manager and could do well at this level...

Good manager. 2nd place in the Belgian leagues. Could do well in England. Not sure he would accept though.
Apparently Bernd Schuster is interested and has applied for the Blackburn job... If that is true; that is absolutely crazy! If this happens (highly unlikely) it would be massive. Big name that for a club like Blackburn in its current state.
Then there is BBC who is claiming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is interested in the job.
Really surprised that such big names are interested in the job.
I have a feeling in the end this venkys will end up appointing some nobody or promoted eric black in the name of " we were looking for young and upcoming manager" (indirectly - we wanted some one cheap)"
