Lack of ambition I guess. Owner does not wish to spend money, want to be feeder for ISL, content with local league.

Hopefully better club comes in their place next year by 2nd Division.

Because there will be 1 vacated spot in I league after eb n mb move out, 1 team will get promotion from 2nd division, Shillong will feel the vacated spot

I actually see no problem with Lajong fielding an all Indian side. As long as their youngsters can beat I league 2 teams then Lajong are fine to be in the I league. They are literally like an Indian Arrows from NE. The Indian youth hardly gets game time and Lajong's efforts on these guys will definitely bear fruits for the NT one day

Larsing Ming is AIFF Vice President and must have had assurance from AIFF Officials regarding relegation. That's why he may have decided to field an All Indian team to save some money.
