East Bengal has so far played the perfect away match game. Defend deep, closing down opposition throughout 90 mins and hit hard in counter attacks and set pieces. How they switch their game in the home matches would be critical. Team needs a CAM in home matches and Al Amna's fitness would be key.
2 seasons back (under Morgan) they were same. I guess fitness of key players ( that year Anselme’s injury derailed their very well constructed championship) is the key; specially their Mexican forward & central defence pair
Even though I know EB will easily win the League, I want a team other than MB/EB to win the league, just to fuck up with AIFF's Plan. Aizawl FC winning the League in 2017 messed up the restructuring of League system with Minerva's triumph making things worst for AIFF. If EB/MB finishes 1/2 than AIFF can easily say that we took the top two teams in the League in the newly merged league and the rest will play in League One. Thus the "Merger" of the League's will be completed.
@DEFENCE123 EB has had stronger teams in the past and had a good start to the league before messing it up towards the end. They are the South Africa of Indian Football. When you think they have done it, they find a way to fuck up. Let's see if it would be any different this time. Though with Quess controlling the team, will be expecting less interference by the club officials, whose vested interests have always let down the team.
