AIFF isn't strict with I League clubs; instead they do so out of insecurity & also since I-League clubs doesn't have the money power.

@goalkeepar: You may be right, but what I read from some Bengali dailies, he has left the team because of some issues with the management and the players

A recent article in Ei Samay mentions Douglas as the "chief coach" and the reason for bringing him being the Cypriot coach not being well aware of Indian football
