    Jamshedpur September 24, 2019 , by News Desk 0 Comments 98

Counter sale from Oct 12, Season tickets for 3 and 9 matches available

Jamshedpur, Sept. 24: With Indian Super League (ISL) season 6 round the corner, Jamshedpur FC has announced sale of tickets for the 2019-20 tournament for home games at JRD Tata Sports Complex (Furnace) from September 27 on paytm.com, insider.in and the Club’s website (www.fcjamshedpur.com) along with official site of Indian Super League (www.indiansuperleague.com), said Jamshedpur FC CEO Mukul Choudhari.

Addressing a press conference at JFC office on Tuesday, Choudhari informed that box office sale (counter tickets) will start from October 12 at Gate no. 2.

The football extravaganza begins on 22nd October against newly formed club from Bhubaneswar, Odisha FC amidst much excitement amongst the fans.

“At first the season tickets sales for Jamshedpur FC’s 2019-20 home games will go on sale from 27 September after which single match tickets will be available. The season ticket holders for nine matches will get to witness all the encounters of JFC and  those holding three match season tickets will get to see three matches at the 24,424 capacity JRD Tata Sports Complex here,” CEO said. It may be mentioned here that season tickets of both categories will be at concessional prices.

He informed that prices for Match day tickets for home games have been decreased compared to last season and the minimum cost of the ticket remains at Rs 50.

The North and South Stand ticket price is Rs 50. Last season the cost of South Stand ticket was Rs 100 while North Stand ticket cost remains the same.

For East Upper and West Upper football fans will have to dole out Rs 150. Last season East Upper ticket cost was Rs 250 and for West Upper it was Rs 200. The price for East Lower and West Lower is Rs 250 (Last season Rs 350).

For VIP (Food Pack) ticket the cost remains Rs 500. The 300 capacity hospitality section ticket price which was Rs 3000 last season has been reduced to Rs 2000, informed Mukul Choudhari.

The season tickets price ranges between Rs 400 to Rs 5000 for 3 matches and Rs 1000 to Rs 14000 for 9 matches.

The season tickets will be available in two formats. One will be on a three-match basis, where the fans will get the option to buy tickets to three matches at a time, and the second option will be to buy tickets for all nine matches of the season.

The discounted pricing structure for season tickets in the three-match format:

    1. East & West Upper – Rs. 400 for 3 matches (Actual price Rs. 450)

    2. East & West Lower – Rs. 650 for 3 matches (Actual price Rs. 750)

    3. VIP – Rs. 1200 for 3 matches (Actual price Rs. 1500)

    4. Hospitality – Rs. 5000 for 3 matches (Actual price Rs. 6000)

The discounted pricing structure for season tickets in nine-matches format:

    1. East & West Upper – Rs. 1000 for 9 matches (Actual price Rs. 1350)

    2. East & West Lower – Rs. 1800 for 9 matches (Actual price Rs. 2250)

    3. VIP – Rs. 3500 for 9 matches (Actual price Rs. 4500)

    4. Hospitality – Rs. 14000 for 9 matches (Actual price Rs. 18000)

When asked about the reason behind the cut in ticket price, JFC CEO said, not only Jamshedpur FC but other ISL clubs have also reduced the ticket price. Choudhari went on to say, “Jamshedpur FC has had the highest average attendance as a cumulative of last two seasons, with over 20,000 fans packing the club in support to achieve much-desired glory in the Indian Super League.

“We want to build a stronger connect with the fans and every supporter of the Club is important. The ticket cost has been reduced but the relation we develop with the fans will go a long way. Last season after a 57 days break match was held which broke the momentum but this time we hope the same is not repeated,” added Choudhari.

“Last year offline ticket sale was better than online in Jamshedpur but when compared to other venues the online sale was much better in the Steel City. Like previous year Fan Park will be organised at Dorabji Tata Park (Near Keenan Stadium) on Jamshedpur FC away matches,” Choudhari signed off.
