@sam It was competitive game Right !!. Infact both the I-League games which were played today. One club was playing for title, other for survival. It is not any Franchise private tournament of a private company with semi-retired foreigners. By the way I am not sure about "last season" also. Lets see how things shape up. Mohun Bagan will always be a Legend wherever they play- never say last !!!
Mohun Bagan attained the summit finish with four rounds to spare and matched the record so far owned by Dempo SC, which accomplished a similar feat in 2009-2010 season. If the NFL and I-League (which is a later nomenclature given to the country’s top League) are considered in entirety, then Mohun Bagan also equalled Dempo SC in winning five titles. Dempo has three I-League and two NFL crowns while Mohun Bagan collected its second I-League title to add to the three NFL titles it had won previously.
Yes, Phillip Adjah joined MSC in 2018 and scored some sublime goals against EB and MB, though he had "attitude problems" and tendency to play in "khep" tournaments despite being under contract with other clubs https://www.indiafooty.com/2019/01/04/philip-adjah-overrated/
Seems he has matured of late and is currently the 4th highest goalscorer in the league with 8 goals (along with Plaza)
