AIFF should conduct Womens I-League regularly in a much better way.
9 AM games in May at Ludhiana is simply not done. They deserve to play under floodlights at Cooperage or Shillong.
National championships where they can play with their employers like Railways or various state associations should be regularly held.
  • Women's league does not need to be a professional one. It can be in the moulds of our earlier National league where Office teams can also take part. This will boost up participation and also will be less costly.

She didn't mention Gokulam, she just wanted some media footage, hence mentioned East Bengal and Mohun Bagan.

Why should she mention Gokulam they are running women's team for the last two seasons.

Well East Bengal right now aren't able to run the men's team properly. Women's team won't happen unless AIFF creates a structure which makes the investment viable. Her tweet is misdirected.

Bala Devi should tweet and ask Sports Minister that why National Games have not been held in last 5 years ?. She could have represented Railways or Manipur team there.

Also Tweet to AIFF that Senior National Football Championship where she can represent Manipur / Railways should be organised as soon as possible.

    "after two years"?

She made her debut for Rangers on 23 February earlier this year. So, she has scored for them approximately 10 months after her debut (i.e. if you are talking about her scoring for the club)

In terms of duration it might sound that she has taken around 10 months to score her first goal but it is not the case. Women's league was inactive for a long time and their matches are also not played on every weekend.

She has played in almost every match but the mostly as a substitute. So, if you'll calculate the minutes so the total will be around 4-5 matches.
