KBFC is one of worst mismanaged clubs in history of Indian football. A lot of players have spoken against them publicly. So not surprising someone is leaving
The impending departure of Viren D’Silva indicates that more trouble is on its way to the Blasters’ camp, and that does not bode well for the management under the new sporting director Karolis Skinkys. The Lithuanian international who came to Kerala a few months ago, is rumoured to be behind some of the recent changes within the club.
Seems sporting director is trying to force the politics out of the club.
KB is not going bankrupt rather financial reorganisation. Jhingan's exit and the CEO resignation has to do with it. Over the years they lost crores due to mismanagement and management finally realised things have to be changed. The new SD with fullbacking of the owners is the one driving these changes. Fingers were pointed at ceo as they had signed lot of players who were not able to play due to injuries. Jhingan had interest from a club who was willing to pay more and club decided to let him go.
KB finally are doing some good things. Structuring players salary to their values, fitness test before signing, appointment of full time technical analyst and heavy focus on acedemies to groom next set of players are all actually indication the club is going in the right direction.
