Sahal is a good player but not a game changer..he needs to improve his shooting definitely. Happy to see Manvir Singh play and he looked physically stronger this time. he needs to play a bit more freely and show more intent to score than just feed the other strikers
Typical habbas and his playing style. No different. It looks awful but very productive. Hardly created any opening from the open play, always looking to catch the opponent on the counter and ever so solid at back. It's their game style and they are successful in getting full points yet again.
Kerala on the other hand looks like a headless chicken, didn't they! Played a lot of square and back passes to get to the opponent half, but because of this slow build up opponent got good enough time to cover up the open spaces and restricted any final move. Kerala too didn't create any clear-cut opening in the entire game. Clearly players ran out of steam during the last 20 mins, obviously curtailed preseason is to be blamed here. Overall they clearly lacked a good number 10, someone like edu garcia or beitia. With a good creative and tactical brain, who knows when and where to release the ball, this team can become a menace for others.
Overall a rusty game, a 0-0 draw would have been a fair result but no complains with ATKMB having full points as they were slight better on the day.
Sahal is nowhere close to what many fans, players, media and even games(FM, FIFA) claim him to be. He is skillful but has bad finishing, passing, speed and has tendency to lose possession by overdoing things.
