Stimac made the mistake of experimenting in backline. That's where we got embarrassed today. It put pressure on all new, young players and once we were down these players were hopeless
I am tired of listening to this "that this is not our first team and these are our bench players". We are not fucking Germany, France etc that we are testing our bench players against the likes of teams like UAE and Oman. Our first 11 doesn't get proper international exposure, and we are thinking of building our bench players.
I was the first one who said that with our quality of players, our focus should be on results(rather than playing short, trying to be intricate) because results brings confidence, fan support etc. We were getting results under Constantine but changed it.
With Stimac, just see our results and more so our performance, drawn games against the likes of Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
I seriously wouldn't mind losing by a 4,5 goal margin provided that we are trying to inculcate a new passing style( but the fact of the matter is that new passing style is non-existent).
Passing style doesn't mean giving two passes backwards to your goalkeeper and then he has to loop it forward randomly as he is underpressure. It means creating moves through short passes.
I am not seeing the result, the style, the performance in this team.Nothing at all.
Stimac made the error of messing around with too many players who don't have experience. Questionable substitutions too taking off Apuia who was the best Indian player out there today, Yasir and Narzary, putting Kuruniyan at LB.
The CB pairing of Adil-Mashoor is probably the worst I have ever seen. Why did they continue when it was obvious they were not upto the task in the first half?
