In my opinion, our senior NT should stick to counter attacking style football atleast 4 to 5 years(against stronger teams) and use players like ashique kuruniyan who are quick and have good physique in the wings.
Hope it will not turn-out like 2019 Asian cup, where we had a good game against Thailand & lost steam against UAE & Bahrain.
Even 2nd place in our group wouldn't guarantee us a place in U-23 finals, as only top 4 runners-up out of 11 groups will be able to advance. Last season, teams like Malaysia & Oman failed to move to next round despite having 7 points (2nd place) due to their inferior GD/Goals scored.
Yes, but lets take 1 match at a time. Frankly if we qualify that would be massive for this team. Without any practise matches, no proper camp, if they are able to churn out results in next 2 matches it would be great. Thing is with Kyrgyzstan winning, this looks like anyone's ball game. Any team with 7 points definitely going to be the winner of this group.
@Bad thanks for exposing your Bias attitude toward I league players, Your Jeakson and Suresh had more Misspasses and dispossessions then any other players which you will not highlight, your left wing was dead with Rahul not conferrable in that position, only after Bryce it came to life.
Vikram Partap due to his hunger to get ball looked far more tenacious then Ishan Pandita who was unable to even get a touch when given opportunity at NT setup.
Dipak Tangri also dished out a brave performance as a Defender. He is not afraid to put body in .

Massively disappointed on technical abilities of Ashish Rai. Atleast twice yesterday and few times in the past, he committed blunders.

I said Jeakson was lethargic and ideally should not play but probably Stimac will still play him due to his physicality against Gulf Team.
Moreover, When i highlighted the talent of the likes of Sridharth, Himanshu Jangra, Shubho Paul, Taison etc from our U-16s, they were not playing for any Teams(either at I League or ISL level).
