Constantine was the Goat man!! Duly acknowledged
Consti may not have been the GOAT but he did exceptionally well with the limited resources and players of poor technocal quality. Much much better than Stimac! Plus he took India to below 100 after almost 25 yrs. One must not fail to acknowledge someone's good work just bcoz one's bias.

We can use Yasir in RW as well. He has good technical skills. He can dribble and has a decent first touch plus good pace.

Yes but a good rank gets us easier draws for WCQs and Asian Cup qualifiers etc. With easier draw there is better chance for us to qualify for such tournaments (or atleast reach the later rounds of WCQs). With siccess of NT in terms of results and ranking, more interest will be generated domestically for tge game, meaning more govt funding, sponsors and better crowds plus newer areas awakening to football. Its a complex cycle of success and development. Quality is something that cannot be improved overnight. It takes a sustained effort over years to bring up the technical levels. Plus as regards playing stronger opponents, once we qualify regularly for Asian Cup ir later stages of WCQs, automatically our opponents will get tougher. And AIFF will also arrange friendlies against stronger teams like it did for preparation for Asian Cup 2019. So ranking does matter.

Ranking also helps in setting narrative and marketing the hype about growth in Indian national team.Remember what happened in Mumbai vs Kenya and Newzealand.Sunil Chetri and Indian team were talk of the town in Mumbai, even anyone who doesn't follow football stood in line for ticket,Client meetings with Marketing managers was all about doing brand engagement with Indian football team and all the hype that was  created suddenly vanished because of no build up by media(No media spending by Aiif).Winning or going down fighting against big team ensures people keep on coming to stadium in cities like Mumbai,Ahemdabad etc.Tough Mumbai has a good presence of football fans that are ready to spill blood for European teams but very few follow Indian team, somewhere lack of long term planning and short- sightedness from Aiff is to be blamed.

People forget we finished last in WC Qualifiers losing to a team like Guam under Constantine. He was horrendous for 2 years or more and players like Bikash Jairu and others were regular for NT

Sumeet Passi made it to Nt before making it to the bench for Sporting club de Goa.

Constantine struggled a lot and only started delivering results after SAFF in Kerala and Asian Cup qualifiers.
