Wow, I just realized that this was not a friendly. This was the 2nd game of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in North America. The USA came into this match in last place in qualifying with a record of 0-0-1.
In the end the US won 1-0 over Costa Rica and are now in 2nd in the table.
