We are going round & round.. But no coach can fix the N.T unless we improve our youth teams & transition them to senior team. G.S.S & Sandesh had a pis* poor game & Chhangte is out-of-form.
As I said, I'm feeling pity for our coach & Hyd fans. Coach can't play on behalf of the players. Fans in Hyderabad turned up well for Syria game even after that poor Mauritius game. We got 3-0 drubbing against Syria, but fans still turned up today & supported.
N.T players can't complain about fans now, even had a good coach, enough salary.. whatever infra we have that is more than enough. All we need is bottom-top approach and not ISL/NT to baby leagues + hunger players , staff & management.. Clubs/AIFF spending loads of money for senior players, but peanuts to junior teams. Not sure how many local players are playing for clubs (even reserve team/U-19) like M.B, Mumbai city.
As most of them said, though we couldn't win the game, it's good to see fresh breeze of attack from our players & most of the new additions are doing well and they need some more time to gel.
Coach is already started clearing old players, but it is not possible to change entire team within few months & it takes time.. On top of it, its pity to say that we don't have even 1 top quality player in each dept (be it Goalkeeper, C.B , Center Mid-fielder & Striker).. No team can win with full backs & wingers. Mr. Manolo definitely will move-on from these players (Gurpreet & Sandesh).
I wish AIFF will find a way to naturalize 4-5 ISL foreign players (Morocco/Spain/Australia). Even naturalizing Moroccan players alone is more than sufficient for us to be a decent Asian mid-tier team (top 14-16). We have some top class players (Alaaeddine, Noah, Ali Bemammer , Jahouh, Hamza ) from Morocco.
Entire aiff needs to be kicked out before they can even start promoting their new league ideas. Also those cricket brains from rel who thinks Same works for all sports. Only passion can now save us. And yes our coaches suck at youth level. They have no idea tactically, we also suck cause when our coaches are trained and given chances , we start making noises against them. All talks about intra is shit as countries without it are doing quite well, even we did at a time, and that wasn't fluke, makes me think our players at that time had britishers playing in Calcutta league and that made them tactically good.
Sandesh should rightfully be the captain . How can you value your Captain(GSS) if he keeps making costly amateur mistakes ? Despite the shortcomings Sandesh atleast tries his best .
