UK tour called off

New Delhi: The All India Football Federation (AIFF)’s hopes of staging an India-Pakistan series in England were dashed on Thursday when the organisers cancelled the tour because of riot-related problems.

“We have just been informed by the organisers, Touchsky Sports that the tour has been cancelled,” an AIFF official told The Telegraph. “They have requested us to postpone the tour but to revive it on a later date this season would be a huge problem,” he added.
