Dynamic FC hosts FC Naga Tornadoes in the first match in Dimapur on Wednesday. DFC probably had the toughest opening fixtures having already played against Barak FC, Kohima Komets and Dimapur United FC. They will go all out on home turf in search for their first victory of the season against FC Naga Tornadoes. FCNT are currently 4th on the table with 6 points with a match in hand. Another victory will keep them within touching distance of the teams ahead.
Barak FC has played four games this season with two wins and two defeats. They will look to address this inconsistency when they take on a spirited Zonipang SA on Wednesday. They still remain one of the title contenders and will look to put in a string of consistent displays to stay in the hunt for a second title. Zonipang SA look a much improved side from last season and they already have two victories from four outings. The Mokokchung outfit will look to upset the defending champions in a tough away game at Dimapur.
United Redskins take on Dimapur United in the last match in Dimapur. URFC has won one and suffered two defeats with a game in hand. The debutants has the ability to spring a surprise and they will be quietly confident when they take on a strong Dimapur United side. DUFC are currently placed third on the table with two wins and a draw. They will go all out to get maximum points and seize advantage of any slip up by the two teams above them who are playing against each other in Kohima.
Kohima will witness a cracking game this Wednesday as new comers and current league leaders Veda FC take on their nearest rivals and fan favorites Kohima Komets. They are the only two teams who still hold a 100% win record. Veda FC are in imperious form winning all four matches so far conceding only once and have scored nine goals. Kohima Komets, who have played a game less, are in impressive form too winning all the three matches with three clean sheets. The stage is all set for an explosive match between two quality sides looking to assert dominance.
Sangpang FC are currently 7th on the table with 3 points from three games. They will look for an improvement when they take on Doyang FC in Mokokchung. SFC will be buoyed by the strong home crowd support and will look to make the advantage count as they set out for a positive result and give the fans something to cheer for. Doyang FC still remain pointless after four games into the season. A tricky away fixture awaits them on Wednesday and they will need to be at their best as they look for their first points of the season.

Dynamic FC host Sangpang FC in the first of the three matches in
Dimapur on Wednesday. DFC had an encouraging result at the weekend after
holding United Redskins to a draw to earn a well deserved point. They
are still in search of their first victory and Wednesday will provide
another opportunity in front of the home crowd. Sangpang FC produced
another tremendous performance on Saturday when they defeated Naga
Tornadoes in Mokokchung. The Mokokchung outfit will be eager to maintain
the winning momentum going into this testing away fixture in Dimapur.<br> <br>
Naga Tornadoes had a disappointing outing in their last away game when
they went down by two goals against Sangpang on Saturday. They will look
to bounce back from that defeat when they take on Dimapur United in the
second game in Dimapur. Dimapur United returned to winning ways on
Saturday when they outplayed league leaders Veda FC and handed them
their first defeat of the season. This imposing victory against the
in-form team will be a huge morale booster going into another crucial
encounter on Wedneday. <br> <br> United Redskins shared points with
Dynamic FC at the weekend. Newcomers Redskins have been difficult to
predict so far with a victory, two draws and two defeats after 5 games
into the season. A good performance and a positive result against a
quality side on Wednesday will give them a huge lift for the coming
matches. Kohima Komets only got a point out of the last two games and
they will be fired up coming into the match against Redskins. They are
now 4th on the table and trail the leaders by 5 points, with a game in
hand. Anything less than maximum points will be a disappointment for KK
as they look to reduce the deficit at the top.<br> <br> Doyang’s
uneventful start to the season has seen them rooted to the bottom of the
table with just a point from six games. They have an uphill task ahead
of them as they face a strong Barak side in Kohima on Wednesday. DFC has
revitalized the squad and they will hope for an immediate impact and
turn their fortunes around. Barak FC drew with Kohima Komets in their
last game and they are now placed 6th on the table. The defending
champions’ indifferent form this season see them 7 points behind runaway
league leaders Veda FC and they must put in a string of victories to
keep up with the front runners.<br> <br> Zonipang SA host Veda FC in
the early kick-off in Mokokchung on Wednesday. ZSA are one of the most
improved sides from last season and they have been fairly consistent
after 6 games. A well-drilled Zonipang side have steadily crept up to
3rd on the table after three wins and a draw. They will need to be at
their best against leaders Veda FC if they are to get another positive
result. Veda FC will look to put behind their first defeat of the season
last weekend and deliver their trademark commanding performance.
Despite that defeat they are still 4 points clear at the top with an
imposing goal difference.</span></span></h5>
