Glad Subrata and Gouramangi are making, once again, trails and hopefully make it this time. I'd like to see them suceed in Scandanavia. <div><br></div><div>@arsenalfan700 I know it's not Italy, germany, Spain, etc but it's Europe and it's better than staying in India.</div><div><br></div><div>Best of luck to both. I'm guessing they wanted Subrata because they have only signed two goalkeepers...</div>

\<br><div><br></div><div>Now that you think about it, you are right. I doubt many European teams (let alone in lower divs) would make a call on an Indian player and have it turn out well like... having trust. No matter. India's football status is cemented.</div><div><br></div><div>However, I wouldn't mind (heck, even better?) if they did go the MLS. I would literally drive to one of the states (via greyhound or car) just to see them live... right after I buy their jersey. Whichever Indian player goes.</div><div><br></div><div>A guy can dream...</div>

I would love an Indian to come back to MLS but we are not there yet. Chhetri failed in 2010 and due to the cap and roster restrictions it would be tough to keep an over-21 Indian player as a reserve... most likely they would be loaned to the 3rd tier.

  • hmm... very minimal chances of him to get through!! Mainly because he is off fitness and lack of playing time in last 3-4 months.

<br><div><br></div><div>True but what Nabi has to his advantage is the fact that he is trialing at DC United... one of the worst teams this season and one of the worst defenses yet. He will probably not make it as a LM as they are pretty good there but as a LB I can see.</div><div><br></div><div>Also, if they see that he is not good enough for MLS they could always "loan" him to the 3rd tier but their season is over now but still, whatever keeps him fit.</div>
