Things are to change & this drama of Anjan is going to end once Tutu enters the arena in Kolkata.
Because of the AFC Cup, things are to fall in places to an extent within this month however unwilling Anjan Mitra may be.

East Bengal won't be playing in Naogaon Independence Cup. But they might take part in the Namchi gold Cup in Sikkim in late-November.

Working Committee meeting today in EB. EB to open own fan club, focus on increasing membership, provide merchandise, tickets, etc. with membership package. Basically taking a cue from ATK. Also some discussion on marquee player is on the agenda. Budget for marquee player wouldn't allow any high profile ISL names except Norde. So that's basically not more than 1.8 crores/season. A lot of people in the club are repenting now on Martins and want to release him but that itself would cost more than 1 crore. He is too expensive to lease out as no other I-League clubs can afford him! What a mess!
