Lal Holud Aikya was the very first source to have published an update regarding East Bengal Club’s participation in the upcoming Hero ISL on the 8th of February. We said that the club would be participating in the elite league with an investor and four co sponsors. We also mentioned that the announcement would be duly made this month. But the current crisis period was absolutely unexpected and neither our club officials or the investor expected something like this would happen nor did we or our sources expect the same.
The main point for providing this update is that there is nothing to be disappointed about at all and we assure everyone that the management is not sitting back in this period of lockdown but instead they are doing everything that is needed to complete the process. Lal Holud Aikya is not changing their standpoint and we are extremely hopeful regarding our participation in the Hero ISL 2020-21.
Let us all pray together so that we can get out of this situation very soon and the management gets the opportunity to complete the formalities which are left to be done.

@sam Omid didn't get many chances in Persian Gulf Pro League this time (transfermarkt shows info not available). At the same time, he has enough ability left to make it large in India (along with the chance to make it to the international stage) and Indian clubs are big spenders. So, Omid moving is nothing unusual. @EastBengalPride Azmoun rumour is batshit crazy. He has an offer from Napoli currently (even if Italian clubs close down, other European clubs can lap hip up).
He will play I league next year, but a player who can play Iran pro league can easily play isl.. Saying he is not isl level is big joke, BTW isl and I league are of same level
