Should have been like that from the start

Well his involvement will basically limited as an adviser. Will recommend few players from TFA, will talk to coaches etc.
  • A breath of fresh air. I hope to see some good play at the end of season by them. Who could forget their last match against MB last year!!! Surely he would be able to find proper talent from TFA and provide them proper exposure.
  • Hopeing that Baan forces most of the players out and brings in some new youngsters to lead the future. They may have a good run but that wont excuse the fact that most these kids cant be called the "Future of Indian Football". Getting kids from Tata Football Academy, SESA Academy, PIFA Academy, South Wings Academy (Punjab), and that new Kerala Academy along with the AIFF-FIFA Academy will make sure that Pailan gets great talents and wont have to worry about the I-League clubs wanting them because none of the Pailan players would have played for them as they came out of the Academy.

Most I League clubs sign players right from the academies. For example 2010 batch of TFA has 100% placement record.

And this throw all arrows players is crap....there are many good players. If u just want to play kick and run football how wud a judge a player?????

Last yr when Sehnaj Singh made couple of appearances, ppl said he has potential and plays well, this yr. when he played so many games hardly impressed...why???

Last yr Ajay Singh was the most promising young forward (for JCT) after Jeje, what happened to him now?

Deepak Devrani was at the heart of Arrows defence last yr., this yr he didn't feature much and was not much impressive.

Players like Lalzorama Fanai, Milan Singh did well last yr.What happened to them now ? Plus Milan is from TFA, supposed to be well trained.

Fela the next big thing in Indian football just faded away, dont see him in Arrows line up anymore.

Holicharan Narzary scored one of the best goals last yr for Arrows and did well for u19. What abt him?

Sumit Passi, Pritam Kotal - u19 stars. Why can't they play here now?

The answer is faulty tactics, faulty combinations, surely coaching, training and discipline has gone down much lower that what AIFF provided under the authority of Bulpin. If our perspective is such that the players are not good throw them then we would never nurture players. Arrows concept rests on that only. Every year the best TFA cadets will be signed by some club or other. Arrows have to play with the so called 'medium quality players', and they have to nurture them and thats how stars will be born.

What was Jeje doing before arrows? Warming Pune FC bench. In first half in Arrows he just scored 1 (maybe 2) goals and then his game picked up. Even though we are gaga about Raju in initial matches Arrows was conceding so many goals, who cared about Raju then? Gurpreet Singh Sandhu was hugely criticsized for his poor showing in Asian games, Arrows brought back his confidence. This list can go on and on.To be honest without Arrows all these players who are now in National team or in i league club first team wud never have established. its not only becoz they were talented but also becoz they got proper facilities, guidance and coaching. Now that they are not getting. Its better to criticize that system by Pailan, AIFF whoever than saying Arrows players are bad throw them out.

Rudra da, tell you, the guy randhan meetei is an amazing talent. I saw him playing against east bengal in this yrs preseason. He is a brilliant play maker and absolute pitch in dead balls. No wonder rob bann picked him up. Arrows could have signed belal khan the 6'3" tall goal keeper of TFA. He is quite like gurpreet sandhu, tall and well built guy. He could have been more than handy
