the best moments according to me would be
    1. India making a comeback at Asia cup
    2. Indian team defeating Qatar
    3. The announcement of academies and its implementation.
    4. AFC u-16 qualification

the worse moments of 2011 are
    1. bob houghton's dismal departure
    2. slfc's ineligible player case
    3. Lose of AFC champions league spot
  • My Best moments of 2011:
    1) The AFC Asian Cup in which we may have lost all the games but we still gained popularity in terms of domestic support.

    2) Jeje Lalpekhlua

    3) The India U16 National Team

    4) The deal with TEN Action + and the somewhat new I-League

    5) Adding Shillong Lajong to the league so that we get representation in the NE

    6) A new Senior squad somewhat for the future (Pal, Syed, Chetri, Gouramangi, Gurjinder Kumar, Lalrindika, Brandon Fernandes (soon), Jewel Raja, Pradhan, Chhetri, Lalpekhlua)

    7) Beating Qatar 2-1 away from home

    8) Playing on FIFA Dates (Malaysia)

    9) The SAFF Cup

    10) Robert Baan and Academies

    11) United Sikkim FC first season

    Worst:
    1) Sacking Bob Houghton

    2) India U23 losing in the Olympic qualifiers

    3) Only signing Armando Colaco (1 of 2 Indians capable of managing India) to a 4 month deal.

    4) Losing to UAE in World Cup Qualifiers

    5) Favoritism in the Indian National Team

    6) Losing our AFC Champions League spot.

    7) Lack of finding TV Company to broadcast India matches early

    8) Blackout during the biggest game of the season (MB vs EB)

    9) Tieing Afghan 1-1

    10) Lawrence, Samir etc

    11) Signing Savio and not getting a foreign coach

    12) Pailan Arrows

    13) Still no new AIFF website and youtube account

    14) The fact that Pune FC cannot do the match videos anymore becuase TEN Action is stuborn to let them do it. Its not as if Pune FC is on TV all the time. In fact they never really are.

I totally forgot about the Lajong case. Thank god though its Shillong (who get at least 10,000 a game) and not Vasco FC (that would make 5 teams just from Goa)
