Lusophony Games is a new event. This will be 3rd edition of the Games. By contrast Commonwealth Games is a well established event.<br>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India_at_the_Lusophony_Games<br><br>It requires lot of money and effort to organise any sports event. look at Afro-Asian Games. 1st and last in 2003 at Hyderabad, India.  Good job by Goa that they are hosting Lusophony Games. Lets see how it goes. There was so much negativity in India after CWG that I doubt we will ever host any Sports event of that magnitude in next 10-15 years.. thinking of people is negative in the country against sports.<br>
