In Asia, China  Japan and South Korea are the only three countries where infrastructure is top notch, they have hosted Winter Olympics and are able to win medals / compete with europe / americans.

Infrastructure is expensve to build, maintain and for most part of the year, climate is not conducive.

We need more indoor ice skating rinks at affordable prices in shopping malls of india. if children start liking skating, a foundation could be built of winter sports.

yes. lulu mall in kochi has ice skating rink. but that's mostly used by kids and for leisure purpose.
