Total domination in Hockey , its proved that we don't have any competition in Asia . Also happy to know first time in history we will cross 100 medals 🏅.
100 Medals is because our Government is promoting and supporting sports and genuine sportsmen and involvement of private sector is adding to and building sports culture.
After Women's hockey team bronze medal our tally stands 104 medal ! Deepak punia and chess ( both men and women) fights for gold today . A very impressive result for team India

What I meant was that Government backing in promoting, supporting our Athletes financially, mentally, physicallyemotionally in every aspect possible have led to, them performing at such high levels.
Without the Government Support, these results are not possible.
Congratulation to all Indian fans. Excellent show by Indian athletes in this edition. 107 medals with 28 golds is an outstanding achievement. Kudos to athletes, their families, coaching & non-coaching staff, corporates & Indian govt.
The main surge in Gold medals is due to success in Shooting & Archery. We were always good in Athletics in Asian games. If not, Bahrain imports, we would have won few more gold medals.
India is the 1st country after Japan, China & S.Korea to win 100+ medals in single event. Indonesia (Host nation) came close last season with 98 medals. Japan is always good in Asian games. China skipped 1970 games & they are back with a bang in 1974 with 100+ medals for the 1st time. S.Korea is good, but their success started from 1986 games when they hosted the event.
Countries like India & S.Korea needs to push for inclusion of Compound Archery in Olympics. Off late, USA is not having much success in Archery else by now, we would have seen Compound Archery in Olympics.
