good luck to united. But I always believed stars can assure you reputation but not always success. We'll give good fight to both of the big spending kol clubs

<br><div>Having a star studded team doesn't guarantee u success. U got to have the right infra and facility, where people can feel god about. Ranty had been playing in Dempo, which had the right infra. Prayag doesn't have the experience to handle such big names at one go; the coach has not handled big names; so man management would be the key coupled with right infra. Also this club doesn't have a history, hence am not sure how these players would motivate themselves to perform. They do not have the fan base even; for a sportsman, he gets motivated and gives his best when u have a huge fan following; one might say it would help them to perform even better, with no expectation from the fans/less presure unlike the other two bg clubs, but thats not the case. Supporters play a big role in getting the best of players/keeping the players on their toes.....</div>

<br><div><br></div><div>This year Prayag, in spite of causing some major upsets finished seventh in the I league. Prayag had one of the best defences, decent enough midfield, some lacunae in the striking force <span style="background-color: rgb(237, 239, 244); color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 14px; text-align: left; ">but still Yakubu, Vincent, Shankar Oraon, is that too bad ??</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; ">. I don't think so.   In comparison, MB had a pathetic defense line up, was playing with two blockers in the midfield (someone like Zeleny, unimaginable), no positive right winger, more than half of the league played with one foreigner, still finished fourth, had they not drawn against Air India, Salgaocar and had the refereeing in the Dempo game been fair, I betchya they would have been runners or at least placed third.</span></div><div><br></div><div>Even with this kind of result with that pathetic a team, there's talk of Subrata Bhattacharya loosing his job while Sanjay Sen stays on smug as ever.</div><div><br></div><div>the Lord behold !!!</div>

<br><div><br></div><div>That is MB for you....!!!! What would MB look like this year:</div><div>1. Top heavy team, with an average defence( a shade better than what it has been in the last 3 years) and a mediocre midfield - true there is Jewel Raja, and the talk of Nabi playing in the left half position, the talented and attitudinally right Manish Bharghav), but the question is who would feed the strikers????? U need a leader in the midfield and also someone who would be a link between the defence and the midfield - and there is absolutely no one.</div><div>2. No one knows the future of Subrata - its being reported few of the senior players are not keen to play, with Subrata as the TD; hence its likely that MB would look for someone new - a person who is the "Yes man" of the officials - hence no tactics/no strategy and supposedly no pre season training.</div><div>3. By the time I - League is ready for takeoff, they would invariably sack this new coach and again fall back on the Maidan coaches - may be Biswajit/Aloke/Prasanta - who would be under tremendous pressure to first bail out the team from the relegation zone, and by the time the league ends, MB would be contended with a mid table performance; added to this, if they manage to beat EB  in the 3/4 meetings they have in a year(which seems to be ulikely this year!), MB  officials would assume that they have won the I - league ; typically myopic views!</div><div>4. Again repeat the same mistake for the next year - history repeats itself!!!!! </div><div><br></div> =))
