Roy Krishna has his genes in Kolkata ffs, so what? It's beyond doubt proved non mixed race Indians aren't genetically fit for football anymore, it's a genetic degeneration, we aren't good enough anymore for any physical team sports, e.g. field hockey, football, rugby, etc. There would be exceptions but they aren't the rule.

Not only us, it's all of Asia. That's why even after billions of dollars and decades of dedicated hard work, a Japan or Korea can't match up to Brazil, France or the likes in a consistent basis. Same story with Africans except they don't have the money. It's not just physical prowess or technical skills but a subtle combination of every thing, which only the whites or mixed whites (Latinos) can grasp.

    IF race is a consideration

Brazilians are the most mixed race (50% pardos) in the planet after Indians (no race is pure in gene here)... And they are the best in the world as far as football is concerned.....
Generally when the genes mix, the strongest aspect of both genes get together and off spring tends to be better than the parent....

Iran has only the meditereneans and is so sucessful due to a  terrific domestic league system....  Ghana, Senegal has pure negroid race and are very sucessful...

In India, we have the Nordics ,Australoids, medittereneans, Negroids, Mongoloids all of them.....Many of these races have mingled .... Nordo Mediteranean, Austro-Negroid,  etc.... Among this Nordics, Negroids & Australoids are physically very strong....   Imagine the talent for football with this race pool.. itz the melting point of all races here.... Has to be stronger than Brazil (if it is dependent on race), but no proper system to nurture anyone.....

The problem is with the system, poor sporting culture, age frauds etc....

@SiV ;   Sporting culture and Race are often the same thing. How many Rugby players of India origin you see in Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa? How many long distance indian runners you see in kenya ? How many Athletes of India origin you see in Canada, Jamaica, Trinidad, England ?  Despite lakhs of Indian children and grownups living in these countries with sporting culture and facilities, you hardly see any Indian name at any level in these countries playing the sport.

Indian kids are doing Spelling Bee which requires mugging up dictionaries !!

Now you cannot complain about age frauds or lack of facilities for those indian children born and brought up abroad.
Then is it about lack of physicality, non sporting  culture , mindset ??
