i am actually happy that it is for time getting postponed...because under current coach we cant expect our team to get any experience either...hope it is postponed and not cancelled completely and may be in mid of 2012 when our new coach would have settled ..then it could be a vital match for our team..

I would understand why you would cancel if it was just a friendly but it was to celebrate 100 years of Indians in South Africa. We will play again. I agree we need to play in August during the FIFA dates and with a new coach
I was a bit relieved when the match was cancelled. Now I m worried again. There is absolutely no use playing them with our grandpas.

Well one thing is for sure AIFF will not change the coach now..thy wud b happy wid Savio winning da SAFF cup and he doesnt cost much to them. Also at this pont Savoi has contract till May 2012 so certainly no changes b4 his contract expires. Also we all knw hw AIFF works they will not start luking out for a new coach until June 2012..so all we can hope is Savio starts infusing new blood to the India team and few old players retire..
Just read in Bengali newpaper SangbadPratidin, Savio has thought of calling Arnab mondol,Lalkamal,Sanju Pradhan,Robin Sing,gurjinder(Pune FC) ..this is good..he would also be looking out for possible another player of Rahim NAbis callibre..

This is good news. The only players I am not sure about are Robin Singh and Gurjinder.
Robin Singh has started to believed the hype surrounding him and as a result has not been playing the way you expect a striker to do. Robin should play in the under-23s for a while
Same with Gurjinder. I don't see what they see in him. I think he is one for the u23s for now.
Anyway instead of Robin Singh and Gurjinder I would have done Friman Piexoto and Victorino Fernandes. They have been great so far this season.

I like Haokip. Great Talent Lajong have there. He maybe a bit to young but I would still not mind him on India
