A very interesting concept. What europe is experimenting on for youth teams is average age of a team instead of fixed under age of an individual. I.e for u14, some will be above and some under, with max age diff kets say 2years between them. What they say is will build up an eco system with better players and build on players might have missed an age group. One can say though in India with overage players we already follow tjis perhaps, but tjis needs proper planning.

Very interesting video. Lets say you have u-13 to u-15 players in your team with avg age 14. This means you have a good team with a lot of u15, but you have a lot kore scope to develop your u13 because they are playing with and against an age higer their group, so next year when they are u14 thy are much better prepared. This cycle goes on. ' its a player that debuts, not a team' . So true. Effectively this would mean for example, a steady stream if u14, u16 players at national level if we follow this. Frankly , Indian Arrows success is that true reflection, which we are doing unknowingly perhaps.

This concept will not work in india, because every 15 year old on paper is also 17 year old in reality

This concept is already there in Indian sports system.

If there is some U-14 selection, they do select 13 years Kids. Also 12 years kids if they are exceptional.

As goalkeepar mentioned, but the problem in India is,  12/13 year kid is used to compete with 16-17 old one.
Of course, now-a-days, in developed & developing states, age-fraud is almost not there.

so isn't that in another way a good thing for 12/13 year kid because he is playing against bigger kid

No when the 17 year old claims he is 13

18/20 year old one can compete with 22/24 years old one. But at earlier age, 4 years is lot of difference.

If some 13 year old playing with 17 year old (claiming 15) at National level. That is different case. Both will be spotted and even 13 year may get enough chances..

But what about Zonal , district & State level.. At younger age, it is tough to compete against older kids and they will not go to next level ,will lose interest & motivation and will not end up as professionals.. Finally he might be looking for some Graduation course.

Age fraud has reduced a bit. But its there still at large. Also socio-economic impact will be here in India until we become a economic superpower. Only then, people can rely on alternative professions and dont have to force children to study hard to do well in life.

Guys, any stats we have regarding Mohammed Nemil's performance in Spain youth teams and league. In one video someone said he scored 45 goals and 31 assists, that sounds either too hoaxed or its incredible, even if it being for an academy/youth team. Any idea?
