Malsawmtulunga and Jerry Zirsanga sadly cud not make it big because of our poor youth structure..Malsawm was a terror in those days..he played with fever against Korea and scored..that was the closest we had ever come to qualifying for the world cup

Man this is really sad..i hope this vision 2022 or "Lakshya" is focusing on the ground up instead of the usual top to down.. its a crime that talent youngsters r just lost like this.. just wondering what is malsaw and jerry doing at present?.
i have no idea what our goals r only hope talent spotting and youth leagues are under prime focus

We should also remember that this is only development. Who cares how we do as long as the kids get a good development time in the tournament facing the best u16 players from there confederation.
You guys might be confusing Malsawma with Malsawm Tulunga (who was on the U19 team at the same time Malsawma and Zirsanga were U-16). Tulunga had his stint with East Bengal but Malsawma was a a real future star and deadball specialist. He was very small in stature which may have been exposed as he played against older competition. Malsawma is a common name so it is tough to figure out what happened to him.
