I bet the AIFF just said it was the senior team just to make the u16 players seem good. I mean even ussoccer.com did not report it nor did the US Senior Womens Team twitter tweet about it.

If you look at the photo AIFF posted ... they have both boys in Indian jersey and womens in red. Quality is not that great but you can make out its certainly not the womens national team. <br>So like everyone guessed must be U-19 or some other senior team.<br>
