If Prayag boys are of right age..this result is shame...Indian National Team (u14) getting thrashed by a club (who dont have a residential academy). U15 and u14 shouldn't not be very different i guess. Correct me if i am wrong

It should not be surprising. These kids are selected from the AIFF U14 festival at various locations but the procedure is not inclusive, meaning it doesn't ensure that the best kids are with AIFF.

Second possibility is the Prayag kids are older than they claim to be

  • If we can see Arsenal U16s beat the England U16s 3-0

Or the USA U17s losing to the Chelsea U17s we can see anything.

But, AIFF should keep a watch on Prayag players too so they could select the best for the AFC championship. But, all this boils down to the fact they are of right age.

i would expect India to Do very well here... Considering the girls came up Trumps, the boys should also do so..

I must appreciate AIFF for all d teams that they are developing and sending to tournaments!!
• Still not happy with the way the players are selected. Could have been better. Maybe as more Academies come up and more youth teams at u14 and up come up we will see a better selection.
