    Arsenalkid700
Would still like Prayag to go to Siliguri though. It would expose them to a brand new breed of fans which has been untapped. Let the south of West Bengal go to Bagan and Bengal while North can be Prayag.

That whould be good. Bagan(when they qualify again) and eb play in ybk. Proyag in siliguri. Arrows or if any more club from kolkata qualify for i-league next season.

prayag continuing playing at kalyani will surely enhance its fan base....kids watching good attractive football would want to be associated with this club WHICH THEY CAN ACTUALLY SEE FROM THE STANDS rather than any of the BIG 3 from kolkata.... i bet the locals ENJOY attractive high quality football too than just being fans of some clubs just because of their history

Ya but isnt Kalyani super close to Kolkata. I would rather Prayag have a massive population to select from (Siliguri) than a inclosed fixed fan base (Kalyani) where competition for fans is huge.

Kalyani is probably 65 kms from kolkata/ybk.

if just following attractive football was the criteria to be attached to a club then all those lower division clubs in europe would never had all those passionate followers...understanding fan culture is not that easy....Liking a aclub/team and being attached to it are not the same thing. just choosing whoever team is playing well is actually called gloryhunting

"Today we have announced that all trainee of our U-12 and U-15 teams will have a free entry in the stadium on 9th January, 2013 for Pune FC match and parents need to buy ticket for Rs. 20.00 to enter the stadium.. Believe me or not 200 tickets sold in two hours... Also sending tickets to Simurali, Chakdaha, Ranaghat, Madanpur, Kanchrapara.. All nearby towns of Kalyani.. Also tickets will be available in the stadium from Monday.. From Monday you can collect your tickets from Mobile publicity vans.. Don't miss your ticket this time..."

    - Nabab Bhattacharya

(He has tasted blood in the last game, seems like he is going all out, and MB ban maybe a blessing for him)

btw the places he mentions are all connected to Kalyani by local trains, although the places are far apart...thus, he has planned things in a smart way, these people probably only come to YBK in a derby match, now they might be tempted to come....
