Much to the rejoice of football crazy fans of malabar The Sait Naagji cup football tournament is back, , Sait Nagjee was a premium football tournament in the soccer calendar of the country since its inception in 1952. However, the tournament became defunct in 1995, where JCT Mills were crowned winners. Though the organisers had earlier announced their plans to revive the tournament early last year, they were forced to postpone the tournament as they couldn't find major sponsors. The tournament will kick off on January 20 and the final is slated to be held on February 7. Ronaldinho will be the brand ambassador for this tournament and he will inaugurate the same,Matches will be played in league cum knockout format where 8 teams will compete in 2 groups with 4 teams in each team.The main attraction of the tournament is U23 Argentina team . UK based organization Football for peace also supporting .
