Though EB won the match, their defence looked suspect except for Pardo who looked compact: Nishu and Mandar failed to impress, it remains to be seen whether the return of Nunga or the addition of another foreign defender provides some stability. The midfield also lacked bite, with both Saul and Borja looking off colour today. Lack of finishing, along with defence, seems to be the Achilles heel of this team
The performance of Hyderabad FC showed clearly that they are a team in transition; the fluid gameplay under Manolo was nowhere present. Their forwards especially failed to impress; Felipe was largely anonymous while Knowles, except for one shot at the end, did not bother the EB defence. Not sure why Jonathan Moya was not given any playing time.

I thought Hyderabad FC played well without many key players like Sana, Vignesh, Moya, Rabeeh, Oswaldo. If not for the free-kick goal HFC were pretty good for a way match
Parthib was a star right when he started scoring bangers in I league. It seems Indian football fans only recognise a player after he scores in ISL.
If one can continue his IL goal scoring rate in ISL, that shows he can score even against better quality opponents. Hence, it catches attention and people start celebrating. This proving oneself in each tier (lower to higher) is valid for most aspects of life.
With yesterday's free-kick goal, Cleiton Silva has joined Greg Stewart and Marcelinho to have scored the highest number of free-kick goals (4) in the history of the ISL
